Lilith
Lilith
Lilith jewelry is designed by Sarah McLachlan; the 2010 collection is the latest collaboration in our long-standing relationship. We've been working together on creating jewelry for her tours since the first Lilith Fair, in 1996.

Sarah is great to work with--she really understands how to design jewelry--and we share the same values when it comes to making socially and environmentally responsible product from eco-friendly reclaimed sterling silver right here in Canada.

F Cancer Bracelet
F Cancer Embrace Life
F Cancer Embrace Life is my personal charity initiative launched in October of 2008. I wanted to put my experience and connections to good use in the world, so I created the F Cancer bracelet to raise funds and awareness for InspireHealth, the clinic where I was treated.

People love to wear or give the bracelet as a way to express their support of friends and family (and selves) who have cancer. Nothing against pink ribbons, but this bracelet tells it like it is.

Soul Flower 2010
Soul Flower
Founder and Designer 1991-2010

In 1991 I took a leap of faith and launched my own jewelry design and manufacturing business -- Soul Flower -- now one of the best known jewelry brands in Canada.

I feel very fortunate to have had such a long and successful run in the fashion jewelry industry.

In early 2010, I decided that it was time to explore new possibilities. I sold Soul Flower to the company’s long-time general manager, in order to focus my creative and business talents on projects with a social impact.

Making jewelry for Michael's Stay Human tour was a natural fit; we both got our start in the SF Bay Area. He is part of my roots and I really appreciate his generous support of F Cancer Embrace Life.

Barenaked Ladies - Stunt
Barenaked Ladies
BNL's drummer Tyler Stewart lent me the money to start Soul Flower back in 1991. Even though I never paid him back, the band commissioned signature jewelry to celebrate their the No.1 hit in the U.S., "One Week" from the album Stunt.

just kidding about the money--I paid him back.

The band appeared on the red carpet at the 2009 Juno's wearing F Cancer bracelets and have been incredibly supportive. I am very thankful for everything they have done for me.
